Holly Norris is a competition rider who owns

 

and runs HMN Sporthorses in Berkeley


Holly specialises in dressage and eventing and trains her dressage with International Grand Prix riders Gareth Hughes and Richard Davison.

Holly is a Group 4 rider and is currently competing successfully at Advanced Medium, hoping to step up to PSG in 2016. 

 

 

 

 

 

Holly has had lots of experience competing at BS competitions up to Newcomers level, particularly aboard Diamond's Opportunist who won 6 of his last 7 outings.

 
  

 

She has also competed successfully and won out British Eventing and been highly placed at B.E. Novice level, particularly aboard her top event horse, ex-racehorse Stonehaven's Cruising On.

  


Holly has her own yard of quality horses as well as

riding and training for some owners (see a few below).

 

 

Past achievements: 

I was a member of the OBH (Hughenden) Pony Club in Bucks from 1997 - 2004 and achieved the following:  

  • I attended 5 Pony Club camps and rode in the top group at camp and rallies 
  • I was named 'top rider' two consecutive years 
  • I competed in the Pony Club Prince Phillip Gymkhana team 
  • I competed in the 1st Pony Club teams in Showjumping, Dressage and Eventing 1999 - 2004, acting as team leader in the later years. 
  • I passed Pony Club Riding & Road Safety Test and 'B' Test (equivalent to BHS Stage 1 & 2) in 2004 

I represented my secondary school at The National Schools & Pony Club Jumping Championships at Hickstead in 2003 and 2004, riding Nationwide Lend Us A Bob.
